DESCRIPTION:

Discover the captivating Native American-style double flute, meticulously handcrafted by Caleb Byerly. Crafted in Moravian Falls, NC with premium bamboo, this flute boasts dual chambers for effortless playability. Perfectly tuned chanter and drone flutes create harmonious duets. Experience the versatility of the full-scale minor pentatonic on the left side and the enchanting four-note melody on the right.

Note: Our standard design is for the drone flute to be on the right side and the chanter flute to be on the left, but if you would rather it be the opposite, please contact us to let us know during checkout. We would be happy to do that at no extra charge.

Finish: The finish is made from Caleb’s signature shellac finish. It’s made from a food safe material called shellac that has been used on instruments for centuries. It’s durable and an absolutely stunning finish. The finish gives a 3D image of the wood and helps bring the characteristics of the wood out. 

Frequency Tuning: the standard running is 440hz tuning, however if you'd like for the tuning to be in 444hz or 432hz, please contact us after purchase and let us know. We would be happy to do it at no extra charge.

Materials: Mahogany or Walnut mouthpiece, mature, aged, heat treated and sealed bamboo.

Leather Bag: Our bags are made with high quality, genuine leather. The case is designed to protect the flute from being damaged when traveling or to store when not being used. The inside of the case is a soft material to also help protect the flute. A leather strap allows you to carry it on your shoulder. Note: We typically carry leather colors: gray, dark gray, tan, brown and black. Our colors of leather may vary depending on availability therefore we cannot give the option to choose what color you would like. But we will make sure it matches the style and look of your flute.

Stand: Our stands are made with high quality wood that matches the design of the flute. Each stand is designed to hold the flute for display when it is not being used. It allows you to be able to showcase it on a shelf or table safely without it falling off.
